3. DATE PLAN

Vidya's POV

Finally today she's coming. I received her text to pick her up from the airport and her arrival time was 12 p.m. I followed my routine and got ready at 10 p.m. and left to pick her up. I'm dying to meet her, it's been one and a half months without her.

She's the only person who understands me and who has seen my soft side, which I usually hides from everyone because of my fear, fear of being used.

According to me, it's always best to hide your soft and weak points from everyone because they can use those points against you.

But after my parents, I can only trust her even if she's my cousin sister, I consider her as my real one.

My inner self is dying to spit out everything that happened to me in the last two weeks. That Mr. whatever and that bastard Ayansh, I lost the chance to kill him... I wanna tell her everything except my argument with Dad and that nightmare.

We arrived in one and a half hours. And my thoughts paused after getting out of the car. A happy smile was dancing all over my face but I forced it back because I didn't want anyone to see me smiling.

I checked the time, correct noon. I'm waiting for her outside the gates of the airport...

Finally, my wait ended. I see her walking towards me in a cute pink midi dress with a pretty joyous smile.

She signaled the driver to take her luggage and grabbed me into a tight hug

She signaled the driver to take her luggage and grabbed me into a tight hug.

"Finally... I'm back!! I missed you so much Vidi", Akshita said while hugging me.

"I.missed.you.too.but.leave.me.now", I replied while struggling because of her tight hug.

"I won't...", she said.

I pushed her back because of her drama.

"You bitch", she replied with an annoyed face.

"Stop acting like a child, we're adults now.", I replied coldly even though I like her childish acts in front of me.

"But I'm your child na...", she said while putting her head on my shoulder and locking my arm with her hands. I chuckled softly. I love her drama at least she could act like a child in front of me.

She is a successful doctor who's strict in her job but for me, she's my akshi...

We reached her favorite restaurant in a while because I skipped breakfast and as per my plan we decided to have brunch outside. I was about to order but she stopped me and told the waiter to come in a while we were waiting for someone else.

"We're waiting for someone?Who?", I questioned because I had no clue that anyone else was going to join us.

"Sorry... I didn't tell you. I invited someone and he's about to arrive here. Please vidi, don't act too harshly.", she replied.

I'm in deep shock... He? Who the fuck is he?

Do I act harshly with everybody...

"He? Who's he? You never told me about a single boy and now you're inviting a boy to have lunch with us? Who the fuck is he?", I asked with disappointment and rage in my voice...

She was about to answer but a tall guy with a muscular body appeared. Dressed in a casual white shirt and black jeans, wearing a Rolex watch in his wrist.

Dressed in a casual white shirt and black jeans, wearing a Rolex watch in his wrist

"Hii... Who the fuck is he, is me...", he said calmly with a deep voice.

I'm still processing everything meanwhile he sits beside Akshita. They both greeted each other with smiles and love in their eyes. If I'm a hater of love, she's a believer of love. But she never ever dated a guy.

According to her, her love will find her one day and I guess that day came too early but I didn't know about it, that's the point that she didn't told me anything. Is this what I deserve for being a good sister?

"Who are you? I mean your name and your relationship with my sister?", I asked him breaking up the silence.

"I'm Anirudh Chauhan, I'm a doctor by profession and owner of Chauhan Hospital", he replied.

The hospital is top in the medical line as per my knowledge.

"He's...my boyfriend...Vidi...", Akshita said.

Boyfriend? WTF? I sided my thoughts...

"How long you guys have been dating for?", I asked her with an emotionless face.

"Two years", she replied with her head down...

She had been fooling me for two years. Woah man!! I started to analyze him because I do care for her even if she didn't tell me earlier for whatever reason.

About his looks, he's good. His income is also good. But what matters is his heart and emotions for my sister that's why I said...

"I'll talk to you later Akshita... First!! You... Mr.Chauhan, I want to ask some questions. If you stand on my expectations only then I approve you for my sister"

He drank a sip of water and nodded in approval. Is he nervous or something? Fuck it...

"What's more important to you? Money or love?", I asked and without wasting a second he replied.

"Akshita, because she's the love of my life."

"Glad to know that. Next question... How will you manage her overthinking?", I asked.

"With my love and affection. I'm an overthinker too but she managed it well.", he replied while looking at her with a smile, and the moment he turned back towards me, his smile was gone.

"Do you have anger issues?", I asked.

"Yes.", he replied.

"What if your love got buried by your anger?", I asked with a concerned tone.

"You know what... Here's a surprising thing... My anger vanished after seeing her even if it was her fault. She's good at handling my emotions.", he said which made me smile and proud of my sister.

His emotions could be seen through his eyes and facial expressions... I barely trust words but his emotions are damn real...She chose a man for her.

"You passed the test.", I said.

"So easy to pass...", he replied with cool expressions which made us laugh.

"She can break your butt, if you did anything with me.", Akshita said.

"My butt isn't that weak.", he whispered but it was audible to me. I controlled my laugh by gesturing the waiter to come over and take our orders.

They both chatted in the meantime and I was checking business-related news.

Suddenly Dad's message popped up and I clicked on it.

"Your next date is with Mrityunjay Rathore. Tomorrow- 5 p.m. at Lovey Cafe. I don't want any excuses, I promise this one is the last time. Just go for my sake because his mother also wanted you two to meet once.", his message. I read silently but I screamed violently...

"Who the fuck is this bastard??", I screamed and I could feel shocking glares from everybody present in the restaurant.

I felt a little embarrassed but the thinking of a new bastard brushed away that embarrassment.

"What happened? Who's the new bastard Vidi? Don't tell me bade papa (uncle) fixed a date again for you...",

Akshita asked with an annoyed and concerned tone. Meanwhile, her boyfriend was in shock because of my scream.

"He did exactly the same... I don't know who's he but his name is Mrityunjay Rathore...", I replied which shocked both of them.

"What??", Anirudh questions in a shocked tone.

"You know him?", I questioned back but all of sudden he left without answering me...

"Did he know him?", I asked Akshita.

"I...I don't know", she replied which was a complete lie according to me.

Anyway, I have to deal with a new bastard that's more important...

MRITYUNJAY'S POV

I entered the haveli (palace). I left the palace three years ago because I wanted to be alone.

Today's our family dinner night and I don't know why Anirudh kept calling me so I texted him to come here directly.

My parents were sitting in the hall. I greeted them by touching their feet. My mother gave me a lovely hug which I had been missing for a long time.

My father and I discussed some business matters. In the meantime, Anirudh entered the hall and greeted them.

He sat beside me and asked, "You're going on a date tomorrow?"

I frowned...why would I go on a date?

I was about to answer when my mother said, "Suno sab..."
(listen everyone)

My gaze shifted from Anirudh to her.

She continued, "Jay... Kal aap ek ladki se milne jayenge aur mai kuch excuse nahi sunna cahti... I planned this with her father and also I checked everything about her, she's such a pretty plus independent girl."
(You'll meet a girl tomorrow and I don't want to hear any excuses)

WTF!! It's too quick... I don't wanna go on dates and all so quickly. I hate this bullshit a lot. But if I'll deny my mother won't waste a second to order me as a queen. Anyhow I've to obey her decision.

I took a glance at my father, only he could save me from this but my expectations turned to zero after seeing his happy and proud face.

Meanwhile, Anirudh was in great shock I don't know the real reason but I guess because I didn't even talk to a girl except my secretary and her girlfriend after she left me.

In my opinion, if I talked to any girl it meant I was cheating on her but technically she cheated on me. She told me to wait just for a year and she'll leave everything for me but she left the country after one year and now expecting her first child.

The betrayal made me say yes to her decision. Also, it's just a date and if I decide to move on, I need to take steps also.
After my yes, everyone's face lights up with a smile except Anirudh. I don't know why is he not happy.

We had dinner and after that, we decided to leave ignoring my parents' plea to stay with them tonight.

Our ride home, went silent. After we reached my home. I told my driver to leave him at his place but he jumped out of the car.

"I'll stay with you tonight.", he said.

"Why? you guys broke up after meeting Akshita's sister?", I replied.

"Shut the fuck up and come inside", he replied annoyingly while entering the house.

I followed him while chuckling.

He didn't wait for a second and screamed, "Why the fuck you said yes to going on a date?".

"Do you think I've any other options? Also I argued with her a month ago and she ordered me, as a queen...", I replied while pouring a glass of water.

"I know that but you shouldn't agree on this date...", he said rubbing his back head.

This date? Suspicious... He never reacted like this. he always insisted on dating someone.

I asked curiously, "What's so specific about this date?".

"Because this date is planned with Akshita's Sister and she's a nutshell for sure just like you...", he replied.

His answer made me burst into waves of laughter. "So you're tensed for your sister-in-law?", I asked.

"I'm tensed about you because she's not interested in marriage and all but her father insists her every time to go on blind dates and choose someone.", he said.

"Interesting!! Here's my mother and there's her father... Don't worry I guess I'll end his search for sure", I joked.

"Fuck you... I'm going to sleep, I just wanted to, aware you", he replied while moving towards his room.

I reserved a room for him because he stays here mostly.

"Go Aware her, she needs that.", I replied while he showed me the middle finger.

After taking a bath... I opened my phone and tapped on the document, which was sent by my secretary.

Her complete information is included in this single PDF. Maa just told me her name without knowing that's enough to dig her whole history.

Vidya Rudravansi, a nice name. I smirked and went to the next page containing her images.

Wait!! WTF... she's that girl who tried to stop me that day. Anger rushed all over my body. I can't go with her on a date. I shook my head furiously and dialed Maa's number.

She picked up the call and asked in a sleepy tone, "What happened beta?"

"I won't go on this date", I replied.

"Don't you dare Jay... Beta I want your happiness and I know you can't love anyone all of sudden but I've faith that she will make you believe in love again", she said.

I declined the call without replying because I knew that she wouldn't get my point.

A girl who doesn't believe in love could make me fall in love with her... Huh?? What a lame joke...

I spent the next few minutes reading about her. I heard her name a lot because she's a talented CEO indeed but I never got a chance to see her and I never wanted to see her to be honest. I've more things to do rather than waste my time on women.

"You're doing that now", my inner voice interrupts. I shut my phone down and lay down.

Her face danced over my closed eyes. Siding her previous act, she looks as majestic as a goddess in Indian Attire and as sinful as a devil in Western. Both suit her but her pic in the desi outfit stuck in my head.

Even if I spent my teen in the UK...I love everything about India, mostly our culture.
