Vidya elaborated on the whole thing to them, and she told them that during her research, she found that the employee was seeking mental therapy after she fired him. It's tough for them to believe that a mental patient could do such planning, they are not sure whether he's the person or not, so they decided to find him first.

"Wait!! I found a phone number in her text", Akshita said.

"Let me track this number", Anirudh replied and entered the number.

"I think we should inform the police about this", Akshita exclaimed.

"We can't. They already considered me as a culprit. I don't think they believe us.", Vidya said while texting her dad about the whole thing.

"I got the location", Anirudh shouted and added, "Gangapur".

"Let's go", Akshita said while shutting her PC.

"Chill my lady! We need a plan. What if he had guns and all? Or what if it's a trap?", Anirudh replied, calmly.

"I don't fucking care... We're in Prayagraj, It might take 3 hours to reach there. We can't waste more time...", Vidya replied while massaging her temples.

"I know... Okay let's...", He was about to complete but got interrupted by a call.

"I need to go to the hospital. An emergency arrived. Fuck it!", Anirudh snapped.

"It's fine!! We're heading to the location. No need to worry!!", Vidya replied.

"No, I can't let you guys go like this. I mean it might be dangerous. Wait!! Let me call Mrityunjay.", he replied while dialing his number.

"What? No need to call that bastard... I'm used to handling shitty men and I can handle him too", Vidya replied with rage.

In the meantime, Anirudh already dialed his number and by mistake put the call on the speaker.

"Is she calling me a BASTARD?", Mrityunjay asked from the other side of the call.

"You've any doubt? By the way I've more pretty names for you... Should I...", She was about to complete but Mrityunjay interrupted her.

"We'll exchange pretty names later Miss Witch... Why did you call Ani?", He replied to make her annoyed and he succeeded.

"Vidi... Calm down... He has links in Varanasi, he can help us.", Akshita whispered into her ears.

Vidya was about to say something but Akshita covered her mouth and gestured to Anirudh to talk outside.

"Can you please calm down!! Vidi... Stop overreacting...", Akshita said furiously.

"I'm not overreacting. Why do we need him with us huh? I can't bear his presence near me", Vidya replied while waving her hand through her hair furiously.

Little did she know that his presence will become an addiction to her in upcoming years.

In the meantime, Anirudh entered the room and said, "He's coming here in a while. I'm leaving now but don't go without him. Understand? Vidya?" Vidya nodded and cursed him.

He kissed Akshita on her forehead and left for the hospital. Vidya tried convincing Akshita, to leave for that location but she ignored her and waited for Mrityunjay.

It's been an hour and the hour hand struck the clock at 8 pm.

I'm fucked up with all this... Why do we need that bastard to help us? He doesn't mean anything to me then why did he get ready to help me?

I stood up from the chair and was about to ask Akshi about him.

Suddenly, the door opened with a crackly sound. He appeared dressed in a black hoodie paired with black jeans. His eyes... Stop it, Vidya!!

"Let's go... Take your laptop Akshita.", He said and left the room.

Akshita and I followed him. He gestured to his driver to leave and sat in the driver's seat while we sat in the backseat.

For half an hour there was dead silence. In the back of my head, everything was rewinding, the allegation, the investor's withdrawal, the downfall, and the betrayer. I'm not worried about myself, I'm worried about the company's reputation. What if we failed to reach the culprit?

"Listen! According to my sources, the location is not safe... I mean that's an abandoned building... So you two will not enter that building. I'll handle everything with my men", he said breaking the silence and stopping my racing thoughts.

"Your men?", Akshi asked.

"Yup!! I'm the prince of Varanasi and I have some personal bodyguards.", he elaborated.

"I'll go inside with you", I said and he made eye contact through the mirror and glared at me.

"No way", he retorted.

"I'll...It's my problem and why are you so interested in helping me...", I asked with rage.

"I'm not interested in helping you, I'm helping you because your sister helped me prior.", he replied with an annoyed tone.

"Whatever...I'll go inside...", I said breaking the eye contact.

"Sorry Mrityunjay!!", Akshita said.

"No need to say sorry to him", I replied.

"Yes!! Akshita...She's right, you did nothing... She'll say sorry or I'll throw her out of my car", he said in his husky voice.

Bastard!! "Threw me out!! Right now.", I said and he frowned at his brows.

"Stop it guys!!", Akshi shouted and we reached the location without saying a single word...

"Don't you guys dare to come out!!", he commanded and left the car wearing his cap. Looking totally like a chor (thief).

"Hey, you!! I'm coming with you...", I said and tried to unlock the car, why the fuck had he locked it.

Shockingly, he opened the door and dragged me out terribly.

"You...", I yelled but he pinned me to the car and whispered, "YOU ARE GETTING IN MY NERVES. You wanna go...Fine!! Let's go but don't panic if you see anything terrible..."

I've seen and done a lot of terrible things Mr. Rathore but you never know about those. Leave it!!

He took a few steps back while I replied, "I've seen enough terrible things and luckily you are placed on the top of the list!!".

He ignored me and started to walk towards that building while his men spread over that building. I gestured to Akshita to stay calm and followed him.

"Don't enter any room without me...Understood?", he asked with care in his tone and eyes.

I nodded but I did not follow his orders. Bastard!!

A few of his men were examining the ground floor while others followed us to the first floor. I don't think someone is here.

What if it's all a trap or plan to directly reach me? I was standing near the stairs when he entered a room and his men entered others removing the broken doors, bricks and all...

I was analyzing the floor, darkness was the only thing covering the rooms and the floor was in very worst condition. I took a few steps toward the room where Mrityunjay was.

Suddenly I heard the creaking voice of a chair or something from the second floor. There's no one from his men... Is there someone else? I thought the culprit might have left this area but... I turned back and started walking up the stairs.

The floor seems quite clean than others. No brick, no broken doors, and no dust. I stepped towards the first room keeping my steps slow.

I entered the room and there was dead silence but shockingly, there was no darkness. An incandescent light bulb was flickering. I took a few steps near the table which was placed near the end wall of the room.

My candid photos, Dad's photo, and a few envelopes. WTF!! I took the only letter lying on that table.

While I opened the letter, I felt someone entering the room and I was acting like I didn't notice. "WELCOME MISS VIDYA♡", this stanza was scribbled on the paper with a red marker.

I turned back immediately when I felt that someone was just a few inches away from me.

"YOU", I shouted.

"YES!! It's me", the mf said with an insane smile.

I was right, Vikram Verma was behind this fucking plan. My blood boiled when he took a few steps towards me and tried to touch my waist. I grabbed his collar instantly, gladly he's not much taller then me. I'm 5'5 and he's an inch taller then me. I noticed the gun in his left hand which he tried to hide.

"Don't you dare touch me? Answer me!! Why? Why did you do this?", I said while he passed me a creepy smile and answered,

"I used to love you but you... you ruined my life. You threw me out of your company for just a fucking reason... I thought, You love me too but..."

"Fucking reason... You were fucking lazy!! I loved you... Damn, these bastards... I care about every staff member because that's my duty as a CEO to take care of people who are working for me.", I said with an annoyed tone.

"I don't care and I still love you vidi... I did all this for you so that I could see you touch you, I knew you'd find me... That's why I didn't run and waited for you my love...", he said and raised his hand to touch my cheeks.

I instantly inclined his hand, twisted it and he hissed in pain.

"I'll kill you too mother fucker...", I said twisting his hand more.

Suddenly with a jerk, he pointed his gun towards me and said, "Fine...Let's die... together...I'll kill you then myself...This will fulfill my revenge and we could live in hell peacefully."

"I guess you'll reach hell first just wait... He must've been coming.", I said with a smirk.

"I know I'm surrounded by your bodyguards so let's finish this quickly...", he said and pulled the trigger.

I was standing still without any fear of dying but the fear of something else surrounded my soul. I can kick and make that gun fall but I don't want to save myself anymore. I felt numbness over my body and my mind struck those words again...

"YOU'LL GET A MAN JUST LIKE YOUR FATHER, ONLY THEN YOU COULD UNDERSTAND WHAT I'D GONE THROUGH...THAT'S MY C...

STOP!!"

He fired...
